IdOl WoRsHiP - reality of fantasy?

I feel as if i'm makin a fool of myself by writin this entry.. but, here goes..

When ppl ask me:" Do u hav an idol?" I would ans no.. Well, tt's 100% true cos i dun usually book taxis or queue up 4 days juz 2 catch a glimpse of some singers etc. But, When Zhang Shan Wei is goin 2 release his album on e 12th of August, i'll definitely buy it.. Y?

When i c other fans chasin their idols crazily, i thought 2 myself, y do they do tt? What do they c in e idols? I've always thought tt e fans r mesmerised by only their idols' looks.. tt's abt it.. Do their fans like those singers cos they c them as their ideal life partner? What if e singer says tt he's married? Would he lose his fans?

In my case, I like ZSW cos he giv me e impression (thru songs, shows etc) tt he's very devoted 2 relationships, n would take care of his partner very very very well tt kind.. So, this coincides wif my expectation.. But 2day while i was readin an article abt him brought me back into reality.. In e article, it stated tt he celebrated his birthday yesterday n his wish was 2 find a lifelong partner etc.. When i read tt, i was a bit disheartened, n i started 2 think: E impression which i got is what his company want e audiance 2 think cos it's his sellin pt.. He may nt b what we think he is, but his sellin pt is this.. N, come 2 think of it, our age gap is 2 wide.. Hmmm.. n all these made me reluctant 2 buy his CD.. Y in e world would i use my hard-earned money 2 buy somethings of another person whom i've nt even met, 2 his advantage so tt he can earn more money? Sometimes when a star goes into his own fan club 2 thank his fans 4 their support, does he really mean it? Or does he do it so tt he can earn more money?

But, songs r what allow us 2 use our imagination n 2 make ourselves happy..
Nevertheless, i'll still buy it..
It's gd 2 pop into Fantasy Land once in a while 2 escape from e cruelty of Reality Land..
